Being Italian I was raised eating a great variety of pasta daily.
Broccoli is a rich vegetable and it gives a great colour to any dish.
2 medium size broccoli
A packet of gnocchi or any other kind of short sized pasta
Wash and cut the main, flowery part of the broccoli then boil them for 10 minutes. Strain the broccoli But keep the water from the broccoli in a big casserole, we’ll use it later to boil the pasta in.
Lay the broccoli in a pan, add olive oil and salt, cook for 10 minutes then add 1/2 glass of wine and let it on slow heat until all the liquid has gone.
Add a spoonful of thick salt to the water to boil pasta in a casserole, when the pasta is ready strain it and mix it with the broccoli.
Red hot chilly peppers oil can be added on pasta before you serve if you like spicy food.
A gluten free option can be easily made by using gluten free pasta.
